"The screen doors were torn and off track. The curtains didn’t close all the way. The spa was too expensive. The staff was fantastic! Especially Hunter, Kai, and the two young ladies that gave us wonderful rides on the golf carts. The yoga class was excellent. The air conditioning needed to be cooler as needed, and the bathrooms were WAY too hot. The lady that checked us in and out was great! The pool and hot tub were wonderful."

She upgraded us to a suite for an additional charge, which was fine, but she also added valet parking and never clearly explained that it was $45 per day. "My girlfriend and I had a great time at the Mauian, even though it was just one night. Very kind and helpful staff and speedy check-in. The overall property is relatively small, and you feel like you have your own little beach condo instead of a hotel room. I loved being able to walk right into the room from the garden area. "The location was perfect. They upgraded our room which was wonderful. The room was updated and great for our needs. The only things were that the shower leaked all over the floor if you didn’t place the curtain just right, the ants and nats were bad (but it is that season and couldn’t really be helped.
