My second stay at Three Tree hotel - after my safari. Again, the hotel was superb and provided excellent value for money. Room was very clean and all the amenities - fridge, hot water, and air conditioning fine. Restaurant food and staff were really good - I had dinner and breakfast. Hotel felt safe to stay. Hotel arranged my airport taxi. Hotel is not far from Maun airport.

We loved our stay at Island Safari Lodge! The lodge is in an absolutely gorgeous setting right on the River, which means it is very serene and beautiful, however it is a 20 minute taxi drive away from town which can be a bit of a hassle if you plan on going into town for dinners or night life. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They seamlessly helped us in arranging airport transfers and a river tour. I would suggest arranging your own taxis to and from town though, the...

Arrived early and were cheerily checked in at once. Lovely room with kitchenette. We thought we were getting a king bed plus sofa bed, but the manageress got the maid to make up 2 singles so we both slept well. Well stocked kitchen: only thing that stopped a 10/10 score was lack of oven (we did not notice this before shopping and ended up googling how to cook pizza without one on our second night there!). Fabulous deep bath. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Not in Maun centre (across the...

The place itself is nice and clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly (just one lady during the day and security guard at night).
The location is a bit secluded and no where near the location stated on Hotels.com. They have it in the city centre which is the main reason why i chose to stay there but in actual fact the location is on the outskirts along a dirt track, off the main road to the east of the river.

Wonderful stay. I recommend each guest must be provided with the gate remote as there is a delay in opening the gate or there should be a gateman stationed at the gate

A fabulous place with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guide was the most knowledgeable man who knew the name of every bird and animal we saw. He could spot the smallest bird at the top of a tree whilst driving.
He found us our first Leopard - amazing. My husband managed to lose his phone and the guide was able to track that in the bush as well!!!
It was a long day with two drives and we were there for 5 nights which was maybe one too many. We have...
