"I only stayed one night. Had room 9 in the back of the property. It was quiet and peaceful. The room was clean, and comfy. Shower was tiny but it is what it is. Didnt eat at the restaurant or use the hot tub but enjoyed the room. The room was decorated nicely and had everything i needed. I wanted to book another night but they were fully booked."

"Had an event across the street at Amy Greenwell, and my grandparents would always book here when we’d be on this side of the island. It’s older, but being able to walk right up to the restaurant is worth it, and in the morning it’s so peaceful to just sit out on the porch"

"I loved the balcony full oceanfront view!!! Best room of all. Was able to see the manta rays from my room. The staff was amazing but Leo at the front desk made my week. He went above and beyond to make sure me and my wife had a wonderful stay not just at Outrigger, but the overall Big Island. The food and drinks were exceptionally delicious as well as the views from the Voyager 47 Lounge. The Fire Luau was the greatest show on earth! I also enjoyed the Farmers Market Friday event. I like how Outigger was basically a gather spot for all events. Although there was construction, I would definitely stay here again!!!"

"The location was great! Minutes from Volcanoes National Park! Also it was close to some restaurants and gas! The place was spacious and had comfortable bedding. There was a heater for cooler nights! The coffee pod machine and fridge are such nice features!!!"

"This is an OK place if you're not looking for everything up to date and sleek. They provided breakfast fixing but we brought our own and left most of theirs untouched. The property is secluded and quiet as long as fellow travelers are quiet. nicely decorated and close to the National Park. a big plus"
