The property is good for people who love the nature and wild. The noise of the frogs is loud and if you can’t handle noise at night do not stay here. The shower was outside with no door and the bathrooms are also outside but you can’t flush you have to use dirt.

Room was excellent as were the amenities. Access was easy and the cabin (Bamboo Cabin) was very quiet and extremely private. Bath Hpuse was very good as was the shared kitchen - clean, well equiped and round an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for those wanting something off the beaten track.

This property is absolutely beautiful!! The only thing I’d change is the length of our stay. We only had one night…I’d have loved to stay a month! Check-in/out was ridiculously easy, suite was clean and so comfy, and the landscape is stunning! For real…pure magic!! Cannot wait to get back to the island for another visit! Our stay at Gingerhill Farm in Hawaii was a truly unique experience and the perfect retreat. If you're looking for something comfortable and memorable outside of the traditional resort stay, this is it. The outdoor shower and open-air kitchen were absolute highlights—they made us feel immersed in the beautiful surroundings while still having everything we needed. The property is filled with lush gardens, blooming ginger, and vibrant tropical plants that create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We also loved spotting the friendly geckos throughout the property, which added to the authentic island experience. A wonderful bonus was discovering the beautiful artwork by Mayumi Oda displayed throughout the property. Her vibrant, nature-inspired prints complemented the peaceful setting perfectly and added another layer of inspiration to our stay. If you appreciate nature, tranquility, and a one-of-a-kind place to stay, Gingerhill Farm is a wonderful choice!

I loved my stay in the bamboo cabin at Gingerhill Farms! The staff was so sweet and helpful and the cabin suited my purposes perfectly. The grounds are a gorgeous lush forest full of fruit trees that is so lovely to walk around. I would recommend it to everyone who has an appreciation of nature and the outdoors :)

When I booked our stay at Gingerhill, I had no idea what to expect outside of an experience that would be unlike the typical room and board my partner and I are accustomed to. I can honestly say that this may be one of the most special stays that we have had the pleasure of experiencing. Falling asleep to the sounds of the forest in the Jungle Canopy and cohabiting alongside nature allowed us to seclude and connect in between adventures on the island. A charming, intimate, and surprisingly comfortable stay, we will be returning to this special place and recommend it to anyone who is open to connecting with the beautiful nature of the island.

The bamboo canopy was amazing to stay in. Very lush with trees, fruit, animals secluded from the main road staff was very communicative with when we would be there and answered all my questions definitely will stay there again in the future

Ginger Hills is a lovely little place in close proximity to a lot of awesome things to do. I think they offer a good variety of lodging options and they've got a great staff comprised of legitimately vibrant and kind individuals. If you want to stay somewhere that's close to nature, you really cannot go wrong.
