we got to our hotel Saturday night ready to check into our room and the guy at the front desk told us they didn’t have our name in the system and that our rooms were already taken up by other people, mind you we had already reserved our rooms about a month before. We called Expedia and they told us they would solve our problem by relocating us in a different hotel, we get to the other hotel and we give the people at the front our names our reservation is made but not paid for. Expedia said they would pay for the rooms but never did and wanted us to pay out of pocket $1,070 US dollars . We had to go out our way and pay extra for a small hotel , we were exhausted dealing with all of this mess after 7 hours of driving and being on the road. If you would please return our money . Thank You , Manuel Fraire.

Run run away
This was the worst experience I have ever had in 55 years. We arrived as agreed, the front desk clerk took my name and didn't speak to me after that. I learned from another guest that the hotel would not honor our reservation and they wouldn't honor his as well. Fortunately we did not prepay and they refused to give other guests a refund who did prepay. Our stay was during carnival and we were extremely lucky to find somewhere safe to sleep rather than on the streets with our luggage as other guests had to do. Lobby was dirty, crowded and chaotic. Run, run away from Capital O, trust me.

decent room and place. Good area of venues.
So the stay was sub par. The hotel in and of itself is in one of the best locations in Mazatlan. Literally everything is around that area and for the price that you pay for the hotel its well worth it. However, for American tourists be weary as even though this is a cheap 3 star hotel and it looks nice, there are a lot of hidden fees that sometimes make it a little annoying to comprehend. For example, they only give you two towels and since there were four of us, we needed more towels, they wanted to charge us a deposit of 100 pesos for two extra dollars. Moreover, the WIFI is horrendous depending on where you are at. If you are in the lobby or first floor youre fine but the second floor and up struggle to maintain good wifi connection. You also cant have more than 4 people in your hotel, they will charge you for that too which is understandable. American tourists be weary as this hotel, although great when compared to price and location, makes you vulnerable to the clerks. They do NOT tell you what you can and cant do until you do what you cannot do so make sure to read all the policies and ask questions! overall, 2 out of the 4 workers were very friendly and understanding. The beds were comfortable. the view was nice, be weary that theres a music venue in the front and they play loud music; it was easy to tone out though. Definitely reccomend the suites that have a balcony as you have more room and space to breath! overall I rate this stay a 5/10.

The pictures are completely deceiving about the property the rents are super tiny it is a Howard Johnson not updated place. The lock on my due was broken and the smell of sanitation was horrible the night clerk that kept me in was super nice and very helpful next day after already paying $200 deposit and telling him I had a dark the lady charge me an additional 500. My dog only stayed about 5 hours total at the hotel and break not there anymore. So I go to check out I'm a writer and they refused to give me my $200 deposit back because they said my dog had an accident in the room. My dog is a military trained service animal has never had an accident in the two years that I have taught her and would not. Especially for such a short time being in the room when I took her in for a few hours to rest and took her back to my house which is undergoing repairs. When I told them I would go up to the room and they could show me where exactly the S accident was they just looked at me and smiled and said they could not comprehend went on about their way.

It’s just a place to go and find some sleep. Not recommended if you are looking for something comfortable. It’s just a good place to place your things and sleep. 2 blocks away from the beach.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have worked in the hotel business for 45 years. The pictures are VERY misleading.. When I arrived, they told me it was CASH only. There was minimal warm water for a shower, never any hot water in the sink.. No maid service for 3 days... I checked out a day early and was not offered a refund. The lady named Rosa I think was the owner/manager, manages her staff from the ground flood yelling up the 4 floors all day long. Forget trying to take a nap after a day at the beach. Very noisy, no elevator. Just a horrible experience.

We rented 2 rooms, 1 of the rooms had electric issues in the bathroom, there was a burned spot on the ceiling I could not shower there so I went to shower to the other room. We reported this to the property on the first day we got there and it never got fixed. One of the staff complained about s towel being stained, it was not stained it was sand from the beach, what do they expect if you go on a vacation to the beach? Terrible experience, horrible customer service. And it does not look anything like the pictures!

Room 405 had a very old air conditioner: I had it on at full power and it did help but I was still breaking a sweat from my forehead. For the $75 dollars I spend this was terrible. Hot and Sticky; beware. Rooms where clean and bed was comfortable.

The property is pretty outdated but it will do just fine. The beds are comfortable and are really big. My only complaint about them would be the pillows. They're not comfortable at all. The location of the property is very good because there is a store very close by with several resteraunts around you.

It was hard to find and once we did we regretted it. It doesn't look anything like the pictures. It smells as soon as you walk in, its dark and dirty. Its run down and in need of repair. No where to park and not a great area.Then because we refused to stay there Expedia is charging us half of what we were charged for the week.

No elevator; I did not like taking the stairs to the third floor several times a day, but it was;probably good for me! I lost three pounds in my fifteen day stay. They did not supply bottles of drinking water as do many other hotels, but there is a large bottle in the lobby from which you can fill your own container. Again, the stairs! If nothing else, the staff was the best!

We could not even check in because it was trashy and unlivable. You should be ashamed of yourself for teaming with a Hotel that was so awful!! I expect a total refund. I was told that this was dependent on the property giving the money back. No this one is on CheapTickets. It’s your fault for teaming with them. We expect a total refund from CheapTickets for the hotel. Alaska air was fine.

The hotel is located in a nice area but the curtain in the room is very thin that the lights of the bar in front of the hotel wont let you sleep, besides the loud music, the pillows are aweful and very unconfortable. The hotel does not include shampoo, they ony hace one irom for the entire hotel. I think we got exactly what we paid for since it is very cheap

3 Stories no elevator, but when I told him about my bad knee and requested a first floor they changed my room. Air conditioner didyturn on at fuelirst but then they came right away and fixed it. Great location for shopping and restaurants and clubs. No pool and no parking onsite and small rooms but was sufficient. Not the best time to go during spring break.
