"We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing.

"We had an exceptional stay at Ycona Luxury Resort—truly one of the best resorts I’ve ever visited. The villa was beautifully designed, combining luxury with lush greenery and a variety of trees that created a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere.
As a wildlife enthusiast and photographer, I was thrilled to spot incredible species right from the resort grounds, including a Zanzibar Red Colobus monkey, a Red Squirrel, and the stunning Woodland Kingfisher.

"Well maintained hotel with easy access to the main road. The hotel is in front of the boat launch for the Prison Island and Nakupenda sandbar tours. It is about 3minute walk to Freddie Mercury museum
and Forodhani Garden. The room is spacious with unique old world Arabic feel. The breakfast is with good variety. Definitely a good place to stay. Highly recommended. "
