So many places we visited were overly crowded & this location was perfectly situated in Tuscany between Siena, San Gimignano, and other destinations while providing a refuge from the crowds. Castellina in Chianti is small, but it has several great restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. "This was a beautiful location. The room was spacious and loved the patio for coffee in the mornings. It was very private. We enjoyed the pool and restaurants were great. Breakfast was amazing. We did the picnic and dinner in the Olive Garden and loved getting to know others at our table. The chefs food choices were so wonderful. We would definitely stay again. "

"I just loveeee this castle. If I could, I should live there. I stayed for 2 nights, one outside the castle and the other inside the construction. Loved both. If you go to Tuscany, make sure you spend some nights in this hotel. The breakfast is gread. The food the same. There is a bar too. the pool is not heated. Love, love, love!!!"
