"This was such a cute historic hotel in a beautiful mountain town. It had many many steps to get up to the room and of course no elevator because it's an old building. I didn't realize that when I booked it... I have some knee arthritis so it was difficult but that's not the fault of the hotel. The staff were wonderful, the beds very comfy and we had everything we needed. No AC but it was fine for us because it wasn't hot outside."

"We went to snowmobile and the snow didn’t cooperate but we settled in to our sweet thoughtfully detailed room. We were told it was the smallest of the rooms but as a couple we enjoyed it and the Mountain View’s. We took advantage of the eateries downstairs loving the Butcher Block grill gotta try the steak sandwiches!! So good. Loved exploring the area and coming back to the common areas and a toasty fire. The history of this place is so cool and got to have a lovely conversation with the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. Would love to visit again and catch some snow next time. Thank you! "
