"This is a very outdated property that requires major overhaul of its rooms. The rooms at dated, have a moldy smell, although the linens were clean. I had much different expectations for the property especially since it was $750 a night. Definitely not worth $750/night. Get your act together Hyatt."

"Five nights here were excellent! The location is ideal, and the staff—at the desk, pool, and breakfast—were incredibly friendly and attentive. Our well appointed quiet room, had a super comfortable bed for great sleep. Breakfast at the sister hotel was fresh and delicious, with homemade granola, fruit, coffee, and menu options handled perfectly by staff. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay special. We left extremely happy and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!"

"Hotel is very nice and has great amenities. Please note that the upper wings do not allow anyone under the age of 21. There were no warnings at time of booking and we were not advised upon checking in, it was not until the staff member rudely came up to us when we were at the pool that we were not allowed there with our eight month old. Shortly after the frontdesk called me looking to place us into a different Wing, but after having our experienced soured by my interaction we decided to move to the Kimpton. Which I highly recommend for families. That said the Thompson is a good hotel for someone who’s looking for a resort feeling and not looking to leave the hotel."
