"Weekend get away to attend surprise party. This hotel was the perfect choice for us!!! Upon arrival the staff was welcoming and friendly. Our room ( non smoking) king was larger than most and bathroom spacious. Everything clean and fresh. Buffet breakfast plentiful with something for everyone. Would recommend!!!"

"Great stay for our weekend trip. The entrance to the parking lot was odd. The hotel room was immaculate. The staff was super nice. We really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again. Breakfast was okay. The waffles were the best part. We didn’t use the pool or even go in the pool area so I can’t comment on that. Don’t recommend using the vending machine either. It gave me a drink that expired 5 months prior."

"What an incredible place in the mountains right off the blue ridge parkway. The views are unbelievable. The restaraunt and bar were the perfect place to end the night. Even managed to find some vegan options. Great stop for our motorcycle trip but really anyone in the area has a reason to stay here."

"As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather. Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel. The only downside is that we only had one night there!"
