"For a “master suite” it was not very well maintained. The shower was filthy, had pink mold in the grout. The bathroom door didn’t stay closed and did not have a lock. Carpet was torn and frayed. Some Utensils in the kitchen still had food on them and we found loose dog food under the mini fridge."

"The hotel is in the worst part of Portland. They have no parking unless you pay an $80 valet fee. This you have to pay since there is no parking in the streets unless you want to risk parking in an area full of junkies and thieves. The Hoxton knows this, hence the ridiculous “valet fee” plus tip! I was able to park my car in a parking garage after a half hour of stress and exhaustion from my trip. Turns out that’s EXACTLY the place they park the valeted cars you pay $80 for!! RIPOFF JOINT"
