"Stay was 12 nights for work, so sleep was important. Price was about 20% lower for comparable Hotels in Salem ( It stayed consistant and I was shopping around online for over 2 months. 4 min drive to Walmart, and is Denny's across the street. 4 min to late night fast food on Lancaster Blvd (East of the property). Property felt safe, overall. If parking under the Oak trees, occasional Acorns may drop on your vehicle. It is the end of August, so they're still green and too small to make a dent. But you may find them on your wipers or truck bed, especially when the winds pick up. Elevators are fast, and placed near the front desk near the West end of the hotel, so could be a long walk to room from front desk. King Room was on the North side (away from the Freeway) and was quiet. Updated room and bathroom, which is nice. 5' long glass slide door shower with lots of water pressure. 28" TV, worked fine. Internet was fine for streaming Netflix, etc. Bed was comfy. Didn't use the pool, but it looked fine. The Hot Tub needed cleaning, so we didn't use it. Blackout and Shear curtains. Pillows were smaller than average. Breakfast closes doors at 9AM exactly (10AM on Sat & Sun). Staff was great and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you. Jim P."

"We stayed in #7 which was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The amenities were nice (coffee, toiletries, etc.) and the check in process was self serve and easy. Although plenty comfortable, it was a very small space with limited storage space for clothes and no real privacy without the blinds closed"

"First off, Hotels.com needs to make it MUCH more obvious when a room has a SHARED BATHROOM. I didn’t realize this room had a shared bathroom until I received a message from the hotel after booking. Apparently, you really have to look closely when selecting the room to notice it. I was pretty frustrated, so I called the hotel to see if they had another room with a private bathroom, but they were sold out. Since I was only staying one night, I decided to just make the best of it. That said, the HOTEL STAFF WAS GREAT and the room was perfectly fine for a one-night stay. My room had a bed and sink, but no TV. The bathroom and showers were just down the hall. You need your room key to access them, and the showers are individual private rooms, so you do have privacy. If my girlfriend had been staying with me and needed to get ready, the shared bathroom situation probably would have been a bigger issue. For me, staying alone one night, it wasn’t a big deal. The hotel has a couple of restaurants and a rooftop bar, which was nice. Overall, good hotel and great staff. My biggest complaint is with Hotels.com. I contacted them before my stay about the bathroom situation, and they did nothing to help. Hotels.com really needs to do a better job clearly disclosing shared bathrooms when customers select a room."

"This is a boutique hotel and as such it is a bit eclectic. First off, you couldn’t be in a better location for tasting rooms (try Pikes Road right under the hotel) and restaurants. It looked like fun shopping, neat little stores, but I didn’t go. It’s an easy in and out if you are driving and convenient to many wineries around the Valley. The parking is fine. The hotel itself is quite small. There is no lobby and no checking in. It’s electronic codes. If you have even a small problem with stairs, find somewhere else. The stairs are very difficult and there is no elevator. I emailed for someone to help with our luggage both in and out and they were extremely accommodating. If you are accustomed to instant hot water, not so much. Probably a good 5 to 7 minutes in the morning. Our bed and linens were terrific. The kitchen is quite small but workable if you are planning to cook. I probably would have given it five stars if not for the stairs"
