Great location and as always McMenamins has unique and quirky art throughout the hotel, restaurant and bar. The staff could not be nicer. They enjoy talking about history of the building and make recommendations of things to do in the area.

Love McMenamins and the fact that there are many things to do at their hotels. The room here was pretty small but there are other common spaces to hang out. Walking distance to everything in town which is great!

What a great place to stay! Don't be put off by the shared bathroom, it's way cleaner then half of the hotels I've stayed in! It's right downtown. Comfy beds. Staff was great. Couldn't ask for anything else, a wonderful stay. Ah, one thing, parking is about 2 short blocks away, but safe, easy walk.

This is a very unique place to stay. Comfy bed, clean rest rooms, great roof top bar, but the rooms only have very old sink fixtures but lots of hot water. It’s one of a kind and I liked it.

Terrific staff, pet friendly, perfect location, and groovy vibes. My only notes are the tiny room, and maybe the fact that my little dog couldn’t join us on the roof ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ

Like their other properties, this is not a regular hotel. It's better. No TV in room, shared bathroom, 3 bars and restaurant. Like visitin europe, including a wardrobe in your room. Fun and quirky, get one of the 3rd floor patio rooms if it is hot

The staff was great. There were no bathrooms in the room, but restrooms were right down the hall, and I never had to wait to use a shower. There was ice available at the bars. The only problem was I have Celiac disease, and they had no gluten free options. Luckily there were safe places right down the street.

The room was very small, but cute, with antique furniture which gave it a 40’s feel. There were no bathrooms in the room, but the women’s restroom and shower was right down the hall. The only problem for me was that the bed was firm, though there were several pillows, which helped.
