Room was well stocked with a lovely view, staff were all very friendly and polite. Location is better than the Jabal Omar hotels as you don’t have to walk through the crowded taxi rank area to reach the haram. This is one of the better valued 5 star hotels in the area.
My stay at Sheraton was truly enjoyable. The hotel is comfortable, well maintained, and very convenient, making it easy to relax from the moment you arrive. What really makes Sheraton stand out, however, is the exceptional staff. Their professionalism and genuine, client-focused service made a real difference throughout my stay.
A special shout-out to the front desk and lounge teams, especially Nashwa and Safaa, whose warmth, attentiveness, and care went above and beyond. They made me feel welcomed and well looked after at every interaction. I would happily recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.
Check in was smooth. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice and a pleasant surprise. This hotel is close to the new extension, however takes about 10 mins walk (downhill) to Haram near Clock Tower. Please keep in mind, 2 mins of walk back is uphill. There is a bridge to the Haram right next to this hotel but it was closed. Once it opens, getting to the Haram should be convenient!
Room was clean, and overall the hotel is not run down like some of the other Mecca hotels. Bathroom was immaculate with all the necessary amenities. Beds are so comfortable! I slept so well each night! Air conditioning worked well. Wall outlets had USB ports. Overall it was a really pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again as long as the bridge to Haram is open.
The staff are excellent. They upgraded us to a huge suite. Best of the best

The staff were incredible. Check in was quick and efficient. It did not take 15 minutes. I was fortunate to get an upgrade because of my status in Marriott’s membership program. From the services of the consieges, the security team, housekeeping team have spoiled me. The bellhops and the amazing team at dining area on the “SR” floor. The food was was varied and freshly prepared. Opp for the breakfast. It’s fantastic. Go earlyservice and g
The hotel itself is nice and clean and close enough to the Haram. It is a bit of a hike to get to the hotel from the Kaaba so keep that in mind; it was, however, the best price for a hotel on the Haram. Hotel staff were a mixed bag—some were super friendly and helpful, and others were standoffish (especially front desk staff). The breakfast is great.
The staff was very professional and friendly. They surprised me with a free room upgrade, and the new room had beautiful furniture and a cozy feel. Customer service was top-notch from start to finish. Highly recommended!
