"The room was very clean and welcoming. We had a small balcony which was unexpected. Our twin room had comfortable beds and air con and the balcony door could also open as a window. The mini bar was very reasonably priced and tea/coffee in the room too. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had fruit, cheese, cold meats, eggs, tea coffee, hot plates with an assortment of polish sausage and pierogi. Fantastic choice. We also ate in the restaurant one evening and had chicken with fondant potatoes which was delicious. The bathroom had everything required and was very tastefully decorated. The complimentary Spa was outstanding. Very helpful staff, pool, jacuzzi,steam room and sauna. I liked the location on the river BUT there is no way to walk alongside it into the main city. The city is approx 5/10 minutes walk through and underpass below a motorway. I highly recommend this hotel and I can’t wait to return"

"Amazing friendly v helpful charming staff! Everyone of them ! Lovely room overlooking river with big windows - warm and quiet with air con if needed Welcome bottle of Cava - a thoughtful surprise Nice bar too with outside seating area to watch the world go by - just had cheese board late one evening and it was great v sale for less than £10 WiFi iffy but reception have private individual routers for guests Breakfast brilliant huge choices and another treat - Prosecco and 0% free for guests to make Bucks fizz or just quaff!! Highly recommend this hotel and hope to return !!"

"I just finished a solo stay here for 5 nights and was very happy with the hotel. I knew beforehand that it was only a few minutes away from the old town but I didn't know it had a tram station right by it where two tram routes stopped at. I used this everyday, especially when I was tired from exploring the city and wanted an easy trip home. As for the hotel itself, it was clean and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and all of the people that I spoke to spoke excellent english. I had a room with two single beds, very spacious and the beds themselves were I'd say about 20% larger than a standard UK single, so that was good. Only one thing I didn't like, and it might not apply to other rooms - the shower cubicle was very small, and I often knocked against the wall as I tried to shower, or sometimes I hit the control with my arm and experienced an unwelcome change in water pressure. It's a small negative amid a sea of positives about this hotel, but something worth addressing if the hotel are able to replace the shower area with a larger one (there was room in the bathroom for that). Otherwise, nothing but good to say. I had breakfast each morning, the food offered was a solid set of choices for a multi-national group of guests and filled me up nicely before heading out each day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, I was very happy with it."
