"I would stay at the Gasthof Schoenegg B&B again in a heartbeat. For a true Swiss Chalet like experience this is it. The view from our corner room was something out of a dream. We slept with the windows open so we woke up to mountain views on each side every morning. The attention to detail for the breakfast is incredible. Also being a bit of a germaphobe is not easy but I couldn’t complain about anything here. Be careful if you have big luggage as it’s a bit of stairs to go up and down. There is...

"I appreciated the helpful staff, with excellent English for those of us who don’t speak German. Also, the always available coffee was great for my pre-dawn bird watching (which was excellent in the garden). It’s a little bit out of easy walking to places like the train station, and beware that Uber availability is poor in Lucerne."
