Welcoming, friendly hosts. Really spacious and comfortable. Great bed. Great, non miserly shower. Large fridge and tv, laundry facilities, outdoor area with a great view of rural surroundings, interesting garden and menagerie of animals. Quiet area. Amazingly good value.

Comfortable stay

Very spacious. Comfy bed. Loved having a washer and dryer and being able to see kangaroos in the back field. The coffee maker didn't work but the kitchen was well equipped. A bit dated. Wifi was very weak.

Disappointing

My wife organised this property in hopes for a country getaway that was private and accomodating for pets to welcome the new year. It is not pet friendly as advertised. However, Brett was happy to allow our pup to stay for 2 nights and our other friends and pup to stay the last night to welcome 2023. Privacy is next to nil. You are housed between two unpleasantly close family homes. We were very appalled by the older mature woman who banged our door down after 1.30am NEW YEARS DAY to tell us we are SPEAKING too loudly inside the house. She proceeded to tell us its time to “pack it in”, to make sure we clean everything up and questioned us about our dogs and entire arrangements. This was all declared in a very rude and obnoxious way. My wife had already made these arrangements!! She also made it very clear that she was the property owner. Just out of order behaviour towards paying customers. We were made to feel incompetent and unwelcome by her. For the small amount of time we did spend at the property, as we were out and about all day, watching the roos hop along the fields for a good minute was lovely. Id suggest to make signage to direct customers around the property as we had no idea how to get to the lake or if we were allowed to enter anywhere

What an absolute little gem!! Tranquil setting and a comfortable abode, ensures relaxation is the highest priority. Recharge the batteries and let the stresses of the world just drift away. A quiet wine on the verandah overlooking the plethora of wildlife and listening to the amazing array of birds in the area.

Home Comforts Close To Yarra Valley Wineries

Lovely self contained unit at rear of property with friendly family hosts available to give as much, or as little, help required. Kangaroos and other native animals viewable from property. Yarra River walking distance away. Close drive to eateries, beautiful town of Warrandyte and Yarra Valley wineries, breweries and food producers.

My stay at Australian Home Away-Wonga Park was excellent! The area is nice and quiet and peaceful, and only a short drive to the CBD. The accommodation was spacious, fully furnished, and came complete with all the kitchen and bathroom utensils that we needed. Definitely coming back here!

Peaceful semi rural environment which is what we look for rather than bells and whistles.. Basic but comfortable with all the amenities for our needs

Sandra was very friendly and welcoming Dwelling was quiet, clean , tidy and comfortable . Bedroom was spacious but found the light switches on the wall near the bed were difficult to find and reach in the dark. Suggest a small lamp on bedside table would be easier to access. Could not use the toaster as began smoking much too much than Toasters in general . We turned it off immediately while Needs to be checked for Safety reasons Main concern ; Check In advertised between 2:00 & 10:00 pm but one week before check in then informed Check in between 3:00 - 10 :00 pm . Although owners were obliging to 2:00 pm Check in , it is felt we should not have had to request it. Advertised Policies and Detail must be able to be trusted .

Peaceful, semi rural retreat

Located in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, this property comes with the peace and aspect of being on a farm surrounded in bushland. Yet only a short commute to the Yarra Valley and Healesville, eastern suburbs of Melbourne and if wanting Melbourne City a short connect to East Link. We loved it. We were visiting family in the Croydon, Chirnside Park, Mitcham areas, its location was so accessible while providing a wonderful retreat for us.

Lovely quiet cottage in a semi rural location

Brett and Pu are beautiful hosts!! The cottage was beautifully appointed and had everything to make the stay comfortable. Being Dog friendly was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend this property to anyone - Will come again!!!

Nice place to stay, with everything you need.

Friendly and helpful owners in a beautiful area, and a great location. Everything you could think of, was supplied. We only stayed for one night, but would happily have stayed longer. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect stay

I have been here several times now. Love coming back and seeing the animals. Quiet and peaceful environment. A little hard to find first time. Fantastic place to return to after a long day travelling/at work.

Great relaxed getaway with lots of nature

It was a comfortable stay at Wonga Park and a truly relaxing getaway with nature at doorstep. It was a like a small farm stay within the community and you have everything you need for a cosy stay. The home was great value and heated bed, fully equipped kitchen, hot powerful showers, washing machine and separate living and bedrooms were pluses. We felt at welcomed and at home with a free tour of the vicinity by the great hosts! Highly recommended!
