Unfortunately the thermostat in my room didn’t work, I reported it in the morning during check-out and the receptionist was lovely, didn’t charge me for parking and was very apologetic. "Lovely room (206) on the ground floor with sliding patio door to access the peaceful courtyard (water, fountains, small trees) and chairs to sit on your own small ‘patio’. Spacious room, great en suite. Food excellent (Catch of the Day fish and chips - hake in our case - better than Rick Stein’s Takeaway version in Padstow) Hotel in a lovely setting. Great sunsets. Spa, pool and changing room (Ladies’ - didn’t see Men’s side) spotlessly clean. Friendly, cheerful staff happy to help and can’t do enough for you. "
