"The room was huge! The food was good! And the staff was friendly!"

"The picture on Expedia wasn’t what we saw. We stayed in a room with a queen bed and bathroom. The place itself was very unique and in an out of the way area. We were the only ones who stayed who were traveling through. The other guests were guys who worked in the area. We thought for what we paid, it was ok. No TV in room, but there was a Keurig for our morning coffee. Great views to look at."

"Found a dirty towel on the back of the bathroom door when we got there. The hotel kiosk staff was the most helpful part of the entire stay. I think the room was overpriced for what we got for sure. And then on our checkout day, the housekeeper asked if we were checking out at 9:50 when the checkout time was 11. And when we said we had one more bag to grab he looked down at his watch like he was in a hurry so we felt like we better leave by 10, even though we had another hour left still."

"Check in was quick and easy. The staff (the owner I think) gave us suggestions for where to eat meals, which was super helpful. The room was clean and no noise from neighbors. We did have some noise from the road, but that cant really be helped and didnt really bother me, I just noticed is all. We saw the town, did some shopping, and then came back to the room and had snacks and watched cable TV. Great stay and if I'm in the area again I'll stay here."

"Location was beautiful on Lake Superior and being able to sit on porch and see sunset over the lake was breathtaking. Front desk sraff very friendly. However, room was a bit outdated and did not get room cleaned with fresh towels for a 2 night stay."

"Very clean and comfortable. Key cards randomly stopped working one afternoon which was unexpected and unexplained, but it was taken care of quickly."

"Room hss a 1970 feel to it From washbasins to bed spread The People ypu deal with are friendly and willing to help anyway they can. Maye not tje most up to date room but its clean and conformable. I highlly recommend this motel"

"Clean room though dark as ground floor room & the curtains needed to be kept shut. No lock on the windows, just a piece of wood to prevent being opened. The room & bathroom was clean with sufficient towels provided for our stay. Generous breakfast with hot options in an airy, bright room. Staff encountered were welcoming and pleasant. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
