It was so cool to stay in this Victorian styled home! It is walking distance to downtown, the rooms, and Signal Hill! Great location. Would 100% recommend this to people seeking to stay in a place with historic significance and homey feel! "

"I had a king room on the 12th floor. It was quiet and spacious. The nice big shower was so appreciated after long days walking around the city. The location is close (walking distance) to all the activity on George Street, the Mary Brown Centre as well as a quick walk to Water Street to catch public transit."

"The Leaside is a classic manor in excellent condition. Beautiful wood used throughout. The breakfast was great. Bacon, eggs and toast. Cereal and yogurt available also. Very friendly staff. Great location."

"We had a great stay, I always request a room on a higher floor because our daughter loves to look out at wherever we are staying & they were great, put us on the top floor with the best view! "Easy access and ample parking. Easy smooth check-in. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bed is good, a little on the firm side. Bathroom is a good size with a good amount of vanity space. Towels are not great quality. Overall, it’s a good option for staying in St. John’s if you want to be away from the downtown noise. A decent breakfast is a bonus."
