"It was a comfortable place to stay and close to restaurants, shopping and the Skunk Train. Daily linen service and cups for water are something we don’t get at more expensive hotels unless requested. We enjoyed our two night stay at the Best Western Vista Manor Lodge."
Beachcomber Motel Fort Bragg

"The location is perfect, balconies overlooking the ocean, and paths down to the beach. Staff is very friendly, gave good recomendations for restaurants. There is free coffee and tea available in the lobby. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean. We could securely leave the window cracked at night to hear the ocean. My only cons: the toilet sits so low to the ground and the bath counter is too high. Also, we asked for just clean towels and to empty the garbage for our 3 day stay. No one ever came to our room on any of the days by 5 pm and I had to go to housekeeping to get clean towels and deliver the dirty ones, and take the trash downstairs myself. For the room price I would expect better, especially when they leave a "tip envelope" in your pillow."

"It made it feel so welcoming. I had a very hard day at work. I'm a traveling worker, and it just made it so cozy. And to be able to take a bath next to the fireplace and relax and just keep in my room. The whole time and I left my sliding last door open to hear the ocean all night long, and no, it did not get cold. It was great"

"The building is a little older and is showing it' age in some spots. Overall I had an excellent stay. Next time I will aim for a room upstairs for more privacy. Being able to walk from the back deck right tonthe coast is nice, but i did not anticipate how many people would be on the path in front of that glass door."

"The hotel is centrally located, close to good restaurants, a nice walk to the beach and a great drive through coffee shop. We lucked out with an end room that was spacious and clean. The only issue was spotty internet connections at times, not a show stopper since we were spending our enjoying the area!"
