"Had A Few mishaps but all in all I enjoyed my stay here thank you."

"This hotel was comfortable, clean, offered a beautiful view of the marina, free “bike” usage, a typical continental breakfast (although a longer breakfast time than most hotels we have stayed at, and kind, polite staff. The only “downside” was the hot tub was not in service and the weight room had no weights (we were told they had been stolen). The hot tub was a regrettable experience however, everything else was enjoyable. We would return again should we decide to visit the area and stay overnight. "

"Honestly, I travel a lot and not just in the U.S. and this place was one of the worst I’ve experienced. First, the property was impossible to find, no street signage whatsoever. We drove up and down the street 3 times. I finally googled it to make sure and told my husband it had to be right. We ended up going around back and there it was. My first impression was not good, but after the experience with the reception lady we just turned around and left, didn’t even stay the night. Someone had texted me earlier in the week asking if we wanted to upgrade our room. I agreed to the $25 up charge to upgrade. When I got there the lady acted like I was lying bc it wasn’t in her computer, even after I showed her the text. Then she said well the upgrade wasn’t available and the new girl must have forgotten to reserve it for me. I tried to ask if I had still been charged but she just kept rudely telling me there was no upgrade available. At which point my husband just said “We’re leaving!” We ended up staying down the road at La Quinta. "

"When we rolled up to the hotel in the evening, my 20-year-old daughter was afraid to get out of the car. There was a burned out car In front of the hotel, and trash strewn, all about. They charged me a $100 deposit for the room. They did not return it to me when I checked out. I still have not received the money back in my account. I would say that this hotel is one step above.The type that rents rooms by the hour. I was supposed to be totally in a non-smoking room. It definitely was not a non-smoking room. The front desk staff was nice, but when I walk down the hall to use the vending machine to buy a small bottle of water that was almost $3. And the machine ate my money. I went downstairs to talk to the person at the front desk. They did not offer to give me my money back. They did not do anything but point across the lobby to another vending machine, which cost almost four dollars for a small bottle of water. So I ended up spending almost seven dollars for a small bottle of water. There was black mold in the ceiling of the shower in room 504. My sinuses are still congested and lungs are still coughing from being in a smoker's room. I hope I do not get aspergellosis of the lung. At one point during the weekend, we went in the elevator to go up to our room and there was literally a partially eaten whole tomato in the corner of the elevator. I must say that we traveled in the same elevator shortly thereafter, and the staff must have removed the partially eaten tomato really?"

"I slept one night, when I woke up and turned the bathroom lights on there was a small red colored cockroach bug. Had to grab all my things out the bathroom so it wouldn't crawl on any of them. I wished there was a microwave too. Staff was kind. "
