"We stayed in ‘deluxe’ suite on 1st floor. Has everything you need and well equipped little kitchen. Clean and comfortable. Bed a bug saggy and felt I was falling into middle! Great location for accessing stuff but it is in a bit of a party area. As others have said the soundproofing is not great, single glazed windows and also the noise of people seemingly getting their step count up at 11pm above us.
Good value, friendly staff. Ask for 2nd floor room if you can.

"The staff were great, very helpful and polite, but the whole experience was let down badly, by the constant loud slamming of heavy doors throughout the corridor. These doors are not soft closing, at all. Made it impossible to get to sleep (even at 1 am) or relax throughout the day (the noise was SO loud it shook the walls of the room).
Very disappointed."

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff really friendly. We tried different restaurants, all were good. The breakfast was good, everyone will find something. The gym is excellent, the pool is nice and warm, though too crowded and may be a bit small for the hotel size plus club members plus lodges. Due to the beautiful location it is complicated to get around without a car. "

"One night stay to do a parkrun nearby in Glasgow and had a good night at this hotel. Room was comfortable and quiet. Couldn't get the air con to work so it was a little warm.
The on site gym is good and the buffet breakfast was fine. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We paid an additional £20 as we had our dog with us and we left the room spotless so not sure what the extra charge is for. With free parking and free WiFi also included the price is otherwise good value for this...
