The motel was filthy old bed sheet hanging at the window. This motel needs to be reported as there was no smoke alarm just hanging wires. Why Expedia.ca even has it listed on their site. Towels dirty, left after 2 hours couldn't stay here. Says, renovated rooms, thats is NOT true. Disgusting place

It was decent for the price. The staff were polite and very accommodating. The remote for the tv didn’t work, but I’m sure they would have helped us with it if we asked. The air conditioner worked great, they could get newer mattress and pillows.

This is a very old and much abused motel. We booked a room here for two different dates with one room supposedly to have been better because located further away from a busy road - in fact the second room was of equally poor quality. The rooms were in terrible condition. The fire alarm in one room was broken and the toilet didn’t flush properly. There were no services (coffee machine, coffee, paper, plastic or glass cups, etc). The bedside lampshades were broken and the lights rickety. While there was a fridge and old stove the stove had a dirty pan inside. All furnishings (cupboards, sinks, etc. ) looked as though they had been ripped off the walls with a very poor patchwork re-install and the beds and mattresses were very old but had clean sheets. The curtains were falling off the windows. While the bathroom fixtures were clean the rest of the unit felt unclean (walls badly needed cleaning and painting). We checked in late (9:30 pm). Although the office was to be open till 10 pm, there was a sign saying to call a number which we did and were instructed through a self check-in process. This motel requires prepayment and has a no cancellation policy (ie. if you cancel your room payment will not be refunded). We had a very poor experience and are unable to recommend this hotel.

Seen a lot of not so good reviews for this place. This was not my experience at all. Good clean room for a very affordable price. Person working front desk (owner I believe) was very friendly and let me see the room before booking. We forgot an item at the hotel, owner called us up and even agreed to possibly meet us somewhere in lower mainland to return item. Good hotel at a good price, well run. You can’t ask for much more.

I am not a fussy person, but have to dig very deep to say anything good about this place. It is very old, run down, definitely not well maintained. No basic amenities such as free coffee, no bath mat, no little shampoos or bar soap, towels and bedding were very dingy. Cheaper than most, but would not pay $50, let alone $100 a night. I would not stay there agin.

Check in is supposed to be at 4pm The office was not open until 530pm. Electrical outlet had broken faceplates and large spider webs in bathroom. Beds are about 40 years old. This place should not be represented by Expedia. A full refund might not compensate.

A horrible night stay

First owner gave me a room without clean up from last tenant. After I complained, he gave me another room which has flies/other insects and water that is constantly dripping from the main switch.

Furniture was old & broken. Fridge was filthy, Bathtub & toilet were horrifying. Bedding was filthy. It had hair and dirt in sheets. Floor was so dirty. There was broken glass from a crack pipe on the floor. Owner couldn't understand why we ran away.

The staff took our money for a 2 bedroom suite then try to had 4 of us stay in a single room that hasnt been cleaned( which i may add burned your nose hairs upon entry with a toilet flooded beyond care.)

Manager was friendly and accommodating. Price was fairly low compare to the rest of hotels in the area during Canada Day long weekend. Parking was available. AC was working ok. Shower and hot water was available. Toilet was leaning and almost falling. Fridge was newer. Front door lock was not working properly, needs a new lock. BEDS WERE OLD AND DEFINITELY NEED UPGRADE! I HAD BED BUG BITES AFTER THAT NIGHT. This place has some potential but needs a major facelift! It is extremely ran down!

The property smelled like rotting / mould / hospitals. The smell was so bad that it made you feel nauseated. The room had stained sheets that looked so old they were crusty. Towels that we did not want to use. A broken shower, lamp and air conditioning and a filthy dirty floor. My only positive was that the man was nice and that we could check in late and that we did not see any bugs (probably could not stand the smell either). I am shocked that Expedia would sell such a poor quality motel. We expected cheap, we did not expect to feel gross staying here.

You get what you pay for

Front desk were pretty rude... we arrived at almost 4pm and the room was not ready for another 30 mins even tho check in starts at noon. The beds were super uncomfortable and the window was left wide open so anyone could have gone into the room

If you are looking for an affordable place to stop for the night, this is perfect. We will be back for a place ti stay when passing through. The reviews had us worried but turned out to be way overblown. The road runner is aged and basic, but rather than blowing $100+ for a place to sleep , for $50 it has everything you need. Just keep your expectations in check and ignore all the other comments.

Disgusting !! Broken locks, rotting food in the fridge, no internet unless you're outside, just absolutely disgusting, I cannot believe that you actually have this hotel available on your website, I need to know how to get this place identified by Health Canada as uninhabitable.
