"Property and location was first class. However as no layout of the property was included it could have been a problem with the toilet being down a steep staircase for a couple with mobility issues. I think the layout should be included. As at the time of our visit I had a knee problem and would have booked a ground floor apartment if I had known the layout of the apartment I had booked "

"Having travelled over 250 miles we arrived at the apartment.
Problem No.1 - The surrounding area was littered with dumped items, a sofa, beds, car parts etc, it looked like a junk yard.
No.2 - Bearing in mind I had paid in advance, and had confirmation of our booking. - We arrived to find the apartment already occupied by a family who arrived eariler in the day and had paid more.. We had had no communication from the `hotel` despite my previous email requesting check in information.

"Having stayed here before, I do feel the property is going downhill. Parked in the car park at the back and the feeling wasn't great. Park full of rubbish, the doors to get into the property were damaged and didn't close properly, making the property feel very unsafe and the carpets filthy. Go up to the flat, where I was presented with a dirty and messy flat, all the lights on and windows fully open. With it being ground-floor, anyone could have easily got into the unit. "The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav.
The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door.
The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained.
The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...

"The flat itself was very good. A great location, big and airy, a bit shabby chic but nice.
The service from the local agent (PlumLocations) was terrible. We confirmed availability of, booked, and paid in advance for a late check-out but they unilaterally cancelled at short notice, without offering any mitigation such as somewhere to store our suitcases and hence leaving us nursing bulky suitcases for a couple of hours. Pretty shabby customer service."
