"Extremely frustrated that on all platforms this hotel promotes an indoor pool and hot tub facilities, restaurant when upon arrival for our 3 night stay we’re told it’s closed for maintenance for past three years!! No reduction no compensation for this was offered. Breakfast included, advertised pictures of eggs Benedict and many other options, yet reality was same every three days, scrambled eggs-extremely greasy bacon, pancakes dry cereal, coffee machine out of order and only one person running the kitchen and bringing the food out. Poor guy was run off his feet back and forth trying to cook and refill the three hot server containers. With a hotel at full capacity it’s poor management not to ensure adequate staff present to serve the guests. Room was clean, bed comfortable, good location."

"Absolutely fabulous stay for the price. Best stay on our vacation and the best price too. Very good breakfast and parking included. Right on the water. Cheaper place for gas in Courtenay. Great location between Campbell River and Parksville/Nanaimo. Loved it there. Loved our suite and didn't want to leave. Owen at the front desk is lovely. So glad we got to meet him! He made us feel very welcome!! He is a huge asset to the hotel!!! Love his hat!!"

"All we needed was a place to sleep and have a shower. The bed was very comfortable, the shower water pressure was very weak, the water came out about one foot then just dropped. I just about tripped on the upper level, there is a step up and there is no warning tape or anything. Good place for a law suit!"
