"We are not from this area, so when booking, I went off Hotels.com reviews and the photos provided which made this property look like an average hotel and since we knew we'd be getting in late we weren't looking for anything too fancy. Upon arrival, before we even made our way inside my husband noticed broken window glass in the parking lot where we parked. This made us feel very uneasy so we went inside and spoke with management. They ASSURED us they hadn't had any car break ins in over two years! To which I said "so you've left broken glass in your parking lot for 2 years?!" They again assured us if we parked in a better lit part of their lot, they had 24hr cameras running that they monitor. After our 6+ hours of sleep, husband goes outside to check our vehicles only to find not one but FOUR vehicles(not ours) had been broken into! One of the vehicle owners told my husband that after speaking with management he was told the cameras were not even working that night! Therefore management blatantly lied to us upon our check in! Cops were called, we communicated all of this information to the responding officer. Overall, the room was very small compared to other hotels we've stayed, breakfast was decent, the usual options at most places, the pool was green with algae and the patio furniture, all but 1 of the chairs were ripped! I would HIGHLY not recommend anyone stay at this hotel in future, and would definitely recommend they hire a 24hour security guard!!! "
