"Room was not properly cleaned prior to stay, and we found a chewed up piece of gum on the lid of the ice bucket. The front desk was immediately called with the complaint, and we were told that housekeeping had already left, and we would have to deal with it for the night. In the morning when housekeeping came, they simply made the beds and once again did not clean the gum we reported, nor replaced the dirty ice bucket. This was incredibly disgusting, and the lack of care or urgency from the staff was disheartening. Deeply regret choosing this hotel for our stay in Miami."

"The location was spectacular! You essentially don't need to leave, with 3 restaurants, 2 pools, one roof top and rooftop sun lounging! I enjoyed an Ocean view to top things off. The room was lovely, even though, small, it was comfortable.The staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating. Plus it is a beutiful art deco building! The area is very walkable."

"Everything was very nice. The hotel is in a nice location of South Beach away from all the night-time noise and close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. There is also a very nice Italian restaurant on the patio of the hotel. We ate there twice. The antipasto and focaccia is excellent. The pool area is nice - although there could be more umbrellas to protect from the hot Miami sun. The beach area is nice also - friendly staff, lounges and towels included in the resort fee, but umbrellas are extra. Everything was great except for one thing - the beds. The beds were awful. The mattresses we so broken down that even sleeping the in the middle of the bed didn't help. Clearly, they purchased the cheapest mattress available - which is strange to me given the number of international guests at the hotel. One would think that a European-standard firm mattress would have been their choice instead of the usual cheapest possible soft mattress you find in most American hotels. If there is a reason that we would not return, this would be it. Otherwise, everything was very nice. "

"I was not very comfortable with this room the bed was uncomfortable. You had to continue walking up flights of steps because the elevator was broken. Do not stay on the trip if you want peace and quiet the staff that work at the restaurant below was very rude but the young lady who checked us in was very pleasant. "

"I’ll start with negative feedback first. They gave us a room on the 4th floor; elevator was not working from 3rd to the 4th floor. At the 4:00 am, there was loud banging and dragging noise on top of our room; happened again at 8ish morning. Shower temperature was way too low. They cleaned our room but forgot to leave towels back in the room. Breakfast very simple. Positive feedback: great neighborhood; walking distance to the beach and restaurants; clean rooms; nice staffs. "

"I booked a suite with a balcony with a city view, upgraded to the bay view… but without my consent, Claudia at the front desk moved me to a 1BR instead of the studio… so when I checked out the price was like $300 different than what she quoted and they would not honor what Claudia initially quoted me. Ended up paying $1300 for 2 nights!!! "
