"The breakfast was great."

"We’ve stayed here several times in the past, but apparently the property is under new management, and the experience was quite different. The elevator was not working during our two-night stay, and our room was on the third floor. The room itself needed maintenance, especially in the bathroom—missing or burned out light bulbs, missing cover over the shower light fixture, stained shower curtain. An employee told us that the new management was working on previously deferred maintenance, so...

"Owners are very lovely people. Took that extra time to make stay enjoyable. We needed to leave early but still prepared me breakfast. I recommend this B&B to everyone ! "

"AC was non existent. Room was hot and stuffy. Dirty run down room. Bedding was worn and cheap. Elevator was broken. Had no help carrying luggage upstairs. Bathroom had no vent, Breakfast was okay but coffee was awful, discolored hot water at best. Pool/hot tub area was rundown. Only one jet worked in hot tub, timer was broken, concrete crumbling. All outside and pool doors did not latch for security purposes. Road into hotel was worse than a dirt road. Very bad experience. "

"The rooms are always clean and cozy. The staff is top notch and treats all guests like family. Happy hour in the lobby is an amazing way to meet the other guests. We gave stayed twice in room 17 and once in room 10 and look forward to our next stay. "

"Musty smelling room, but somewhat expected due to age of building. Room was clean, bed was good. Only had about 4 minutes of hot water then it went cold."

"There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. "
