"I checked in, went to room, and immediately noticed the flat screen tv partially falling off the wall. I took pictures and went to front desk to switch room, which they did with no problem. I went to the second room and immediately smelled a strange odor. I then heard the mini fridge keep cycling on and off and making a clonking sound. I realized the smell was from the compressor overheating. I went back to the front desk to switch rooms again, which they apologized for the inconvenience and upgraded me to a suite. The suite seemed ok although I later found that it was right beside the elevator shaft which is what I constantly heard. Also, the shower pressure was very low, and I had to hold the handheld sprayer over me to shower. The room in general showed signs of repairs albeit very low-quality handyman type with other areas needing repairs. The last straw is when the second night I had picked up take out food. I was driving to hotel and realized I forgot to ask for plastic ware but knew the hotel provided a light continental and waffles breakfast. I went to the breakfast area and all plasticware was gone/locked up. I asked the front desk if I could get a set of plasticware and was told no, that it was locked up. I truly thought they were joking but they were serious. I had to drive down the street to a Taco Bell, bought a drink as I didn’t feel right just taking plasticware, and went back to hotel to eat my food. Never again!"

"This was our second time here, and we loved it even more than the first. You cannot beat the proce for what you get. No frills, but friendly staff and a clean, nice room. It is very close to down town Hershey and the park. We will continue to stay jere when we spend the night up in Hershey ❤️ "

"Booked room that stated sleeps five people, that was not the case. The room had 2 double beds and that's it. After asking the front desk if this was a mistake with the booking, he explained that all the rooms are the same and all only have 2 double beds. Had to purchase an air mattress.. "

"We were happy to find a Red Lion Hotel close to our state since we love the one in Kissimmee, FL. The parking here is huge and free, which is a big plus. The hotel is larger than the one in Florida, but it is older, so the rooms could use some updating. Still, everything was clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and relaxing. My kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. The outdoor pool was closed, but we’re planning to come back in the summer to try it and the hot tub. There are restaurants everywhere and lots of parks and museums nearby, so it’s a good place for a family weekend."

"Worst hotel experience of my life. I check into my room to see there’s already someone staying there, literally walked into a room with people changing clothes…I go to the front desk to get a refund, I was told to contact Expedia, then after contacting Expedia, Expedia told me the hotel has to refund me…by far the worse hotel in HBG, PA! I’m from there so i know….wont ever consider this place, and I’m deleting the Expedia app! "

"All instant breakfast menu, nothing too impressive. All we can describe it as is "it's better than nothing". We asked to change rooms because our first room had a moldy AC. The rooms were also very humid and inventilated which makes us feel claustrophobic even though there is enough space. Very low ceilings also makes it feel cramped. No elevators, which we don't mind since the building only has 3 floors. Room looks clean but the moldy AC and the excessive humidity and lack of ventilation inside the rooms makes us feel yucky. We checked out all with stuffy noses and seasonal allergy attacks, we don't know if it's from the environment we slept in for 2 nights or it's just being in a new state on spring in general. There is no way for us to know if the second room we moved in also has molds in the AC, just not visible."
