"We had 2 nights stay at the Royal Swan. We had a great welcome at check in and the room was spacious with a good bathroom. It wad very hot while we were there and we would have been grateful for aircon or even a fan. However it was really good value for money."

"This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there."

"This property is immaculate. The garden was lovely and offers shade and sun. The owner is such a nice gentleman and cannot do enough for the guests. My bedroom was large and comfortable. The shower in the bath was powerful and it makes such a great change to be provided with large bath towels. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was great with lots of variety! Fresh fruit and juice as well as a choices of cooked options. Id stay here again in a heartbeat."

However, if the current hot weather is going to be a recurring feature in future years, then the hotel may want to consider installing air conditioning going forward. Obviously the heat wasn’t the fault of the hotel, and it didn’t detract the enjoyment of my stay. It’s merely a suggestion for the future."

There was a very small space between the wall and the bed and care was needed not to nudge the kettle on the way past. No space for furniture although a hanging rail and a few shelves were behind a curtain. There was a stool. To exit the property there was a steep staircase and a fire door that shut behind you. "There were two restaurants near one Greek and one Latin American we tried the latter and it was good, the Greek one was closed Monday. Staff were welcoming, small family run hotel so personal. Nice bar area. Breakfast was included (continental) but they did offer boiled eggs or bacon bap or sausage bap in the morning."
