It was very close to the stadium which held our band competition but we never got new washcloths as housekeeping didn't come and the toilet ran all the time. Good place to stay if you are going to Astound Stadium.

Rooms were nice, beds were very comfortable, clean bathrooms with nice linens. Good selection of programs on good quality TV’s. Breakfast choices varied each day and were hot and always lots of food available when I arrived for breakfast. In room coffee is great, something I look for in a hotel. The hotel is quiet, has a nice eating and reception area. Fridges seemed to run a lot which made it hard to sleep. Front desk personnel were polite and responded well to a few calls I had to make. Fair rate for the room and enjoyed having the breakfast each morning. Thank you.

First room: shower faucet was broken and wouldn’t turn off. Asked for another room. Second room: horrible moldy smell and unclean. Asked for another room. Third room was fine, no complaints with the room. We extended our stay one night. They never communicated the extension with cleaning, cleaning kept trying to get into our room despite multiple calls to the front desk. There is no communication across the staff at this place. We’ve stayed here before and the exact same thing happened. I won’t even try to extend a stay here again if I come back. Was told by front desk they would give us extra reward points for all the troubles, never happened. Oh and internet speed is horrible. For the high price they charge, there are other comparable hotels in the area so I would probably try a different one next time.

No appreciation for the customer

After we went to bed, there was a strong smell of something burning. The rooms quickly filled with the burning smell. Maintenance quickly came up abd acknowledged the smell. He sprayed some room spray to mask the smell. The source of the smell was never discovered and it was assumed the smell was coming from someone cooking? The hotel manager (via phone) offered a one bed room and a sofa bed in exchange for the 2 bedroom that we had reserved. There were 3 of us and we are not young and not able to sleep on a sofa bed. The "manager" said that this offer was the best they could do. At 930pm, we took the refund and drive 6 hours home. I looked on the hotel site map and it showed 9+ available rooms that they were not willing to offer. This was honestly the worst customer service i think i have ever experienced. The front desk person and Maintenance man were both very nice and helpful. The manager who was not onsite was an easy no when it comes to customer satisfaction.
