"Very unique room we stayed in. The cave was magnificent, very spacious and comfortable. The terrace outside was exquisite! The room had a dehumidifier that was working the first night, but we noticed on the second night, It wouldn’t come on. So the air was damp that night. Would definitely stay here again and again !"

"Everything about our stay at the hotel was excellent, such a great location ! Our room was so lovely and how fun to sleep in a beautiful cave . "Overall great, friendly staff, good location, good room, the breakfast voucher at a cafe is nice (coffee/ croissant). One downside: the room was not very well soundproofed. You could hear what’s going on around and I.e. above you (steps). lt was not extremely bad, and didn’t really care, no problem. But if somebody is very sensitive they may inquire - possibly other room would be better, I had “old lace”"

"Lovely property. You need a car if going to old Matera. Grocery store close by. Pretty grounds and great pool (although like most Italian pools, not heated.) we found easy parking lots near the historic area so it is ok. The photos are deceiving because the spa whirlpool tub is not included - you have to pay 100 euro per couple to use those amenities. That should be made clear in the listing or they shouldn't show the photos. " Cave" hotel room is fun but only a window at door and in bathroom....

"Very clean and quiet, comfortable bed, clear information given at checkin and Giorgia helped us to arrange a taxi when we left. The breakfast was very restrictive, a voucher for a coffee and a croissant at a nearby bar and they wouldn't even let my friend (who doesn't drink coffee) have a tea instead. A water dispenser so we don't have to keep using plastic bottles would be better."

"This property is beautiful and very clean. Finding the location is cumbersome and requires messaging back and forth with the owner. The terrace is beautiful especially to have breakfast at, however the breakfast food itself was nothing great. It is set up on trays to be picked up at the reception. They should invest in serving proper breakfast for a enjoyable experience. There was also no one around to ask questions or request something."
