"The Manistique Sands was a wonderful surprise. Rooms appear to have recently been redone with updated bathrooms, decor, and beds. Even with exterior room doors, we did not hear other travelers. A beautiful perk was that the beach featured in their ads is actually private access. It’s just across the two-lane highway and gave a lively view of Lake Michigan. We did not use the pool or take advantage of the grab and go breakfast, although the breakfast hours and offerings appeared...

"Staff are available by phone and always call you back if they are on phone. Room 15 had a great shower. Room 22 has large frig. Beds very comfy. No breakfast but restaurants close by. Pet friendly at 30 dollars per stay."
