"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"The Waddling Dog is an experience. The room is a large size and is very comfortable. Clean and fresh with classical music on entry was a nice touch. Staff are top notch and the Self parking easy. Breakfast is one of the best in our entire stay. Plenty of choice and fresh with Protein and fruit offered. Waffles etc. The room makes this a good stop the breakfast makes it a GREAT stop."

"Clean & comfortable bed. Bathroom outdated but clean. Air conditioner worked great and kept the room cool while it was +30c outside. As mentioned in other reviews, visible homelessness in the area however they didn’t loiter about the hotel property and didn’t cause us any problem. It’s a good place to stay for the night if you’re passing through and need something economical."

"Our room was large and well equipped. The staff was very courteous and helpful especially the gentleman who helped us use the EV charger outside. We thought we would have access to a high-speed charger but the one that was available was a level two charger. Fortunately there was no one else who needed it so we used it for the night and had our car fully charged in the morning. The restaurant had little or no accommodations for allergies such as coeliac disease, which was very difficult for us...
