"Check in was a pleasant experience and when I asked if we could have a quiet room we were upgraded to an executive room with fridge. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We’ve stayed here on numerous occasions over the years and I’d say the breakfast wasn’t as good as usual. The dining room is getting shabby and stains on chairs off putting. To be fair a lot of guests were down for breakfast and it wasn’t so easy to choose what you wanted to eat. the food wasn’t being replenished quickly...

"We were visiting family with our new grandson nearby. We have stayed here before a few times and checked in around 10 pm. Staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming. We had lovely clean, warm rooms with an extra double made up. Good nights sleep and lovely breakfast with a few coffees certainly did the trick. "I did not have time to swim as I was attending a two days Conference. The room I was staying in looked tired and requires an upgrade but before leaving Donna was kind enough to show me other rooms including the 3 rooms in the Manor House. I liked the executive suites and that will be my choice at my next visit. All the staff were professional and pulled out all the stops to make my stay comfortable. Dr JJN Masani"
