"The hotel was very comfortable and clean, and the hosts were very friendly and polite. They accommodated our every need. There was a wonderful balcony and small garden, where we could enjoy Mount Fuji and relax while enjoying a cup of coffee. The room also had a separate washing machine with dryer, which saved us the trouble of having to go elsewhere for laundry. "The room was very large and had 2 floors, which we can choose either to sleep on normal single bed or futon. It also had two restrooms which was good if you travel with the group. The hotel served us simple breakfast with breads, veggie soup, juices & coffee at the room which was very nice although it was a bit too much for us. A few cons here would be the location of each room which is uphill and it wasn't pleasant to drag all heavy luggage to the room while check out time was a bit too early...

"入住4天3夜是非常值得、非常棒的體驗房間的景色100分，很幸運的入住4天得到滿滿的富士山參加飯店自費的活動，非常滿意唯獨因爲石油短缺，無提供房間陽台篝火有些失望（但也能夠體諒）餐廳也剛好這段期間在整修，但是影響不大服務人員非常親切、有禮貌提出的需求也得到立即處理，非常感謝！期待下次再訪"

"I was really excited to stay here, mainly because of the amazing view of Mount Fuji, and it absolutely delivered. The rooftop view was incredible and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Especially since it was a clear sunny day, not a cloud to be seen! The room itself was okay. The television was quite small, though we didn’t really watch it anyway, and we understood that rooms in Japan can be a bit smaller. The experience of sleeping on the traditional tatami is very neat. The only disappointing part was the complimentary breakfast experience. Guests could choose between a traditional Japanese breakfast, an egg salad sandwich, or another sandwich option. Our whole family had loved the egg salad sandwiches throughout Japan, so we selected those. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up and we were served the traditional breakfast instead. When we asked if it could be changed, we were told it was too late. To be fair the traditional breakfast was quite good. It seemed more like a communication breakdown than anything else. Overall, it was still a nice place to rest and enjoy the beautiful Mount Fuji views. Also, make sure to eat at Oden nearby, great food!"

"Room was spacious and clean, they give you a bag when you check in and you grab all the amenities you need. Near Yamanakako and bus station barely a 2 min walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well! For foreigners they have qr codes of videos of how to set up a futon and how to eat Chazuke for breakfast which I found very helpful!"

"Lovely old fashioned Japanese Hotel. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the lake with Mount Fuji off to the side. Breakfast is worth it do note it is Japanese breakfast - we loved it. Rooms are large for Japan & have everything you need. My Husband enjoyed the onsen which has lovely views and area to sit & relax afterwards. Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Kawaguichiko. Thanks to all the wonderful staff. We used shuttle for return to station but as we arrived early we got a taxi to Hotel which cost 800yen for 3 of us"
