"I’ve stayed here plenty of time in which the other times were okay. But this time the room was dirty and smelled like mold and there was a strong smell coming from the drain. Worst stay ever. "Wasn’t told by anyone that pool was out of order until we got there. The TV in the room was messed up and could only get a few channels and young attendant at desk said so he didn’t know how to use the remote, but she did change up the battery for it. another attendant later told us that somehow the channels got scrambled.but he did help us go watch an MLB baseball game since the lobby TV was working. "This Red Lion is conventient and inexensive. I stay there frequently when I'm working in the area. Having said this, there are some minor issues almost every time I stay. This time, the safty latch on the inside of the room door was busted out and completely missing. Also a pair of socks from a previous guest was left on the shelf above the coat hangers. "Let’s start off by saying I’m a trucker and I have extremely low expectations. But this place is an absolute dump. Pillow, shower curtain, and towels all had stains on them. The floors hadn’t been swept in weeks let alone mopped in months. The baseboards looked like they had blood stains on them. The hallway carpets have clearly never been cleaned. "The staff was extremely polite and welcoming. The property was fairly clean but is really showing wear. Carpets in elevators were badly stained and universal machine in workout room needed maintenance. Location was great as it is very close to highways. In the hotel's defense, it looks like they are in the process of some renovations. I hope they get those finished. I would use this hotel in the future if I were in town."
