Nothing can be seen much in that part of Muskoka since the shops and restaurants there operate on a seasonal basis. But it was nice visiting the place sometimes when it’s quiet. "Room wasn’t the cleanest - found long black hairs in the bathroom and on the carpeting. Shampoo bottles were half full/used. Dusty baseboards and yellow droplets on the vent beside the toilet which I’m hoping wasn’t pee. Hotel says breakfast included but it’s actually just a bag of bread and a toaster with a coffee machine. Property was quite rundown, some junk sitting around outside around the property so not the most welcoming. It was fine for what we needed but wouldn’t stay here if there...

"Muskoka Lake Cottages is a nice cabin style cottage. This cabin style cottage has a beautiful lake view of Brandy Lake that is 7mins to Port Carling and 15min to Bracebridge. Lots of fishing everywhere you can use the resort kayaks to cruise the lake that is included. Excellent stay we will be back in the near future. "
