"Loved the stay! They have brand new mattresses! I know because I got there at 1:00 and watched a truckload of old ones being hauled off and the last new ones being put in the rooms. It's a safe and quiet property and the owner is so nice. The rooms look just like the photos. My only complaint would be they forgot to fill the body wash dispenser and bathed with shampoo, lol. Definitely recommend this one."

"The price was great for one night. There are lists of spots on the carpet going through the hallways. Refrigerator was not cleaned out from last guest groceries. Electric out at sink in bathroom did not work. I have to be very frugal in my traveling so I am willing to put up with some issues. The mini split to cool the room was great. Could freeze you out, I had to turn it up. The vending machine was broken i guess. Was pretty empty and sign said not to try to Use. I slept fine, bed was...

"Lone Star RV Park and Lodge was an excellent place to stay on our recent visit to Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. We stayed in one of the lodge cabins and loved the spaciousness and in-room access to a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The rooms were clean, comfy, and stocked with the necessities for our stay. The staff for the lodge and Gulf Burgers were super friendly and helpful, and we loved our time at the awesome outdoor pool, our burgers and brisket right on site, and listening...

"Unit is old and there were roaches in the room. Bedsheet were old and felt damp or maybe it's the humidity, i don't know. Pillows were old as well. Toilet flush was coming off, had to insert it back in to be able to flush it. Towels didn't feel clean as well."

"It was very clean and beautiful and quiet. No other guests when we stayed. The bar tender was very kind and sweet. The only real dock on rating for us is that the food was hit or miss for the price and there were two locals in the bar at dinner that were super annoying and made our dinner experience very uncomfortable. "This location and house are so excellent that it makes the trip. This place is so luxurious that this may as well be the object of our trip. It runs right next to the river, and enables a family to play, relax and explore for hours. We also enjoyed the games, the amenities and the location itself. It is a minor distance away from neighbors and the town, just far enough away for privacy and a feeling of exclusivity.
