"Overall, the stay was good and everything turned out okay. However, it would have been helpful to be notified ahead of time that the elevator was not working due to ongoing renovations. My daughter recommended this place since she goes to school nearby, and it is a decent option. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, which I appreciated. During my stay, there was a severe hail storm that unfortunately caused damage to my vehicle. Of course, I understand that this was completely out of the hotel’s control—an unexpected act of nature—and many guests were just as surprised and understandably upset. Aside from that situation, the trip was eventful but enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to communicate renovation updates more clearly to guests before arrival so they know what to expect. Other than that, it was a great stay."

"Everything was great and the only downside was that our room was not ready at 5:00pm for a 4:00 check in. We went and got dinner and drove around downtown to see some of the sights. They stored our luggage for us so we didn’t have to cart it all back to the car. So overall a good experience."

"The accommodations were fine but we had a room next to the lobby. The people working the front desk would come and go through a door next to the desk and let it slam shut each time. This made it hard to get any decent sleep. They also talked very loud. Probably okay if you're not near the lobby."

"An excellent hotel. From the very friendly staff, to the cleanliness, comfortable lobby, delicious breakfast, walking distance to beautiful downtown Salina, it was a treat to stay in this awesome hotel. You definitely get what you pay for. Will be going back when we can’t to give ourselves an extra treat."
