This hotel is really in need of renovation. One of the room that given to us has a very bad odor and the other room's toilet is not flushing and the water tank of it is leaking. But the staff are very helpful, they've given us a different room and they are very nice. The aircon is good, the parking is good and there's Culver's in front of the hotel just in case you need a quick bite.

The front door doesn't work y ou have to go around back to get in. Their website said they have shuttle to and from the airport, also breakfast. This is not true. The ac does work for cool only. If you don't mind this the price is reasonable. They need to do a lot of work to bring it up to a Wyndham standard. It was clean and the staff was friendly

Super cheap, so you get what you pay for. Not particularly dirty, but definitely older, less bright and clean than most hotels. Staff was fine, nice and courteous. Breakfast was non-existent the day I was there, just coffee. Not a great place, but nothing I could complain too much about since the price was so cheap. Convenient location next to the airport and Mall of America though.

I stayed here for a couple of weeks while waiting for my new apartment. The staff were wonderful, helpful, and friendly especially the overnight attendant and the tall gentleman who works in the mornings. The place is very quiet, and I was fortunate enough to get work done remotely without any issues. Highly recommended!

This is an inexpensive but adequate hotel close to the airport. The parking lot is full of deep pot holes, the front door doesn't open, the carpet in my room was wet (wall to wall), and one pillow and some areas of the room reeked of what smelled like urine. However, the room was only $50. No breakfast or coffee ingredients in the room, but it was quiet and roomy inside. I had no delusions as to what it would be like since the price was so cheap. The outside doors did not lock (except for the front door, which was locked and had a sign telling people to go around to the back door for entry); nonetheless, I felt safe.

Worst hotel I have stayed at. Booked many months in advance as they offered a 24hour desk service, 24 hour shuttle service to and from the airport, and breakfast. None of these services were available which was apparent from landing at the airport and having no response from the desk. Making my way there by other means I found a very tired looking hotel in a terrible state of disrepair. In the morning there was no breakfast option and no shuttle which again I was banking on. Do not recommend

Rooms were standard yet clean. Beds sunk in middle yet.. i slept. Property.. POTHOLES EVERYWHERE! DOG FECES OUTSIDE DOORS HARD NOT TO STEP IN. When I arrived: First, the parking lot was in total disrepair and very dirty. Second, When I went to the Front Desk, the Receptionist told me I was at the wrong Hotel and sent me to another La Quinta 4 miles away. That Hotel sent me back saying I was at the right Hotel initially; and they have sent me to a wrong hotel. ! So an hour and a half later, when I returned to La Quinta at Nicollet Ave, the Receptionist checked me in efficiently. Third, the Room and bathroom were in acceptable condition. Fourth, when I returned late evening after a tiring meeting, the front door was shut with a shutter and a sign asking guests to use the back door # 2. Had to walk around the Hotel Building to get in. Fifth and last and most important, when I booked, I chose the option which "included breakfast" at the Hotels.com site. There was a big sign at the reception that there is NO BREAKFAST. What a disastrous stay. Please do not put La Quinta Hotels on your website for customers. Nesa Joseph

This stay was an absolute nightmare. I arrived alone at night to find the main entrance completely broken and locked. The parking lot was pitch black, riddled with potholes, and had no painted parking spaces. There was no signage, forcing me to ask loitering men in the dark where to check in. I was told to walk to a side emergency exit. I felt incredibly unsafe. The room itself was disgusting and broken. It was boiling hot because the AC barely worked, and the curtains were dragging over the unit. The bathroom sink drain was broken and full of random dark hair. The carpet was torn, and there wasn't even a basic alarm clock. Don't be fooled by the advertised amenities. The "complimentary breakfast" does not exist—they only have coffee. The fitness room was a sweltering 90 degrees with only three machines. When I complained to the front desk, the two women were rude, defensive, and refused to get a manager, just handing me a scrap piece of paper with an email address. This property is unsafe, unmanaged, and completely rundown. Do not book here.

There is peeling wallpaper throughout the lobby. They don’t have an elevator so you have to carry suitcases up the stairs. The wifi was “out” according to the desk clerk. The hallways are dated, smelly and the carpets are stained. When we got to our room and checked the mattress there was no mattress cover and it was full of stains. We asked for more bedding so we could have more layers between us and the stains. At first the lady at the front desk refused because there was no housekeeping staff available. Eventually, after rolling her eyes several times, she relented but informed us we would have to bring it up ourselves. There was no staff at the front desk when we checked out in the morning and so we left our keys as instructed. We got an email 10 hours later asking when we were checking out. If you can make it to your room without running out, it’s clean enough.
