1. Triton Authentic Cretan Hotel

Minoa Pediada

"Came in the off season, and it was a complete bait and switch. Actual hotel was closed (including pool and restaurant (so no breakfast)). Placed us next door in tiny apartments. Manager gave us the key and left the property. First room had a broken toilet seat so moved us to another one. Staff spoke no English and didn’t understand that we need password for WiFi. Blanket on bed was wet. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left the next morning."

"The pictures don’t do this hotel justice! It is truly a beautiful resort with breathtaking views. The staff is very friendly and the food was excellent. The staff worked with me to accommodate my group and organize prepayment so that everyone could check in seamlessly. They were even willing to accommodate us with a late check out since our flight left later! I wish I could have tried the golf range because it looked so fun! I appreciate all the attentiveness we received from the staff and how...

"We have traveled extensively throughout Europe and without a doubt this is one of the finest hotels we have ever stayed out! The facilities are beautiful, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The spa is amazing with and the sauna/steam room area is off the charts. We had a junior sea front suite with a small private pool that provided a beautfiul view. It had a well stocked mini bar, beautiful bath and gave us more than enough room to spread out during our four night stay. The pool/beach was...

"We had a lovely week at the Abaton. All the staff were really friendly and helpful particularly when on departure I discovered I had left my straighteners in the room. The staff went above and beyond to locate them…which they did. We did half board which was really handy and the restaurants and food was amazing and in a beautiful setting. The hotel is in a great location and if you don’t fancy the pool there was plenty of beds on the beach. All in all a very restful week and the weather was...
