"I had a really great stay at Villa Maïa in Lyon. The hotel sits up on Fourvière Hill, so the views over the city are absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without feeling over the top. What stood out most was the staff—they were friendly, helpful, and made everything feel easy without being pushy. The spa area was a nice bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the breakfast was fresh and simple...

"Part Deux at the InterContinental is a beautiful hotel set within a stunning historic building that has been very tastefully restored. Check-in was excellent and the rooms were lovely, making for a great first impression. The main downside was the facilities, which felt limited for this level of hotel — a pool or jacuzzi would have made a big difference. "The hotel was perfect and super close to the tgv station in case you have a train to take. Very convenient"

"Very nice hotel and staff was excellent. We booked a Jr Suite with river view, which was plenty large for France, however the road below is extremely busy and very loud. There is also very limited privacy in the bathroom. Shower is wide open and the toilet area has smoked glass providing limited privacy. "

"The rooms were ok pretty clean but for being so new already had grout missing in the tile. If you are staying for a rugby match 10/10 on location. If there for the city and you do not have a car it is not an ideal location. Luckily we had a rental car so it was perfect for us."
