It was a lovely stay. The waterfalls, the property, the food, the guitar at breakfast, the spa, and beautiful gardens all wonderful.

Wonderful spa experience in a spectacular mountain setting. Views for miles. Lovely staff and very good meals. Lots of healthy thermal waters nearby. Hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. Recommend this hotel and surrounding area.

We spent a lovely night at the Hunguest Hotel Palota. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both quite good with many selections. The hot chocolate drink selections in the lobby bar were amazing. The spa and various pools were heavenly and quite extensive. The location was very good for hiking the following day. We hiked for about 4 miles and never saw another person.

The hotel was a bit far from the city center, would have been great if there was hotel transportation service. Otherwise everything else was good.

Very, very nice.

It was built in the 1830s, as I recall. It is very pretty. Huge garden. Beautiful stained glass windows. An interesting walking path or two. We had a large balcony that was very nice. We were there on night so we did not get to take advantage of everything. I would recommend at least two nights if you want to take advantage of everything available.

Beautiful building but failed on everything else, wanted to like the hotel but too many bad points. Food at breakfast and dinner was terrible it was included in the price but the last night I didn't eat there because it was do bad. Sorry to say I will never go back.

What a place!

Absolutely stunning fairytale hotel set in beautiful grounds, with its own waterfall and everything. The place is a major tourist attraction in itself! Comfortable room, wonderful restaurant with great food. The only negative thing was the lack of elevators - there was only a single elevator, and stairs further up than the first floor were hard to find, resulting in waiting time for the single elevator. Other than that - incredible place!

A beautiful property with an interesting history. Staff were all wonderful and helpful. The food was also amazing. The area around the property is picturesque. Only complaint is that the equipment in fitness room was old, only partially functioning and in desperate need of upgrade/replacement.

Ingyen parkolás???

A reklámban és a visszaigazolásban többször is ingyenes parkolásról írtak. Mégis felszámoltak parkolási díjat. Mikor ezt kifogásoltam, akkor az volt a válasz: mi mindig fölszámítjuk a parkolást.

Quiet castle with modern amenities

The hotel is in a quiet and beauty area of Miskolc. The room is small but nice. I was staying there as a business traveller - unfortunately it is not possible to book the rooms without dinner.

Desapointed by the food for such a 4 star hotel !!

Nice place and people really helpfull but unfortunattely the food is industrial. Juice said to be "fresh" is totally industrial and full of sugar, it's pitty for such an hotel and the price paid for the night. Despite the people are really nice, i will not come back there ...

The castle is beautiful from the outside and the location is beautiful, but the inside of the hotel needs major work. The room is not worth the price per night. Our room was not ready for 2 hours. This is unacceptable. Our rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We were able to move rooms thankfully. We also had a lady bug infestation at the balcony and windows so we could not open them which made the room so hot and stuffy. There are no fans or air conditioning. This hotel is in the 2-3 star range. Maybe if the price was way lower then it would be more acceptable. This hotel has potential though to be much better down the road with some changes
