"The room was spotless; everything from the carpet to the grout in the bathroom tile was very well maintained - in fact looked brand new. The pool was again well maintained and spotless. We only stayed for one night but Suburban would cerainly be our choice the next time we are in Stratford."

"The room was good with areas to be improved. The bathroom had been recently redone and was in excellent condition. The bed was comfortable and the inside temperature on a hot day was comfortable. The couch was a bit dirty in places and there was on a two seater couch, no desk or other seating. Parking was easy, with good size spaces. All the people I spoke to were helpful."

"The okay - It’s a basic motel with beds. It’s 20 mins walk to town and 5 mins walk to the nearest gas station. The room had cable tv, a microwave, and refrigerator which were very handy. The a/c worked well. The worst - towels and bed sheets had hair and old stains. The room smelled old, like it hadn’t been aired, so we had to leave the windows wide open to get the smell out."

"This is a vintage property with renovations so the suites are unique. Ours was a 1 bedroom with pullout couch and quite roomy. The bathroom was very old European. But the location of the property was excellent with terrific shopping and restaurants nearby. The Stratford Festival Theatre was within walking distance. We had a nice stay."

"The property was clean and very well located, very close to downtown. Staff were courteous and responsive but I found check-in and check-out info a bit confusing. The room was very small, the bathroom tiny with a pillar obtruding into the middle of it. The sink is outside the bathroom in the room itself. "Breakfast was a huge upcharge per day per person, so we didn’t get that. They also charged us an extra $29.95 per day—4 days because we used the pullout couch, and there was a sheet and blanket for it, but the same ones were used all four days. The woman made a huge deal about having to wash them, but she only needed to do that once."

"Overall the stay was great. Staff is wonderful and the restaurant bar is our favorite stop for drinks before heading off to plays. We have used this property before and the location can not be beaten. My only issue is there was a hold for the full stay amount plus an additional $200 for room charges. Then on check out we were charged the room rate amount. It has now been 7+ days and the fairly large hold is still pending. It is frustrating to have to review and confirm the amount is still not...

"Sue and Al are the most wonderful hosts at Cottage on Caledonia and it's a perfect place to stay for a visit to Stratford. The bed is so comfortable, the homemade & quality breakfast is so appreciated, and the space is charming and welcoming.
