"Room was clean and staff was friendly. HOWEVER: I would probably not put handicapped guests on the 2nd floor - if there is a fire and the elevator is closed, there is NO WAY for them to get down the stairs safely."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites Culpeper. We were seeing a concert at UVA but all of the hotels were sold out. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were all updated, the gym was amazing with nice equipment, and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was also great. If we are ever staying in Culpeper again, we would definitely stay here!"

However, we noted that towel replacement service is not provided, necessitating guests to air-dry towels within their cabins. We recommend bringing additional towels for convenience. This information would have been beneficial to know prior to our arrival, as we found ourselves reusing damp towels. While designated as a "premium cabin," the accommodation is rather compact. "Great little suite in the cutest town of Culpeper. Place was extremely clean, quiet and convenient to all types of dining, shopping and train station. Beautifully decorated city with Christmas theme. Staff answered questions via email almost immediately. Very professional. We will stay here again. Highly recommend. "

"This is a great location if you arrive by train. There is also parking nearby. Easy to use the code sent to gain remote access. My room was pleasant, well appointed and comfortable. Shops and places to eat are very close. "

"Overall a beautiful place to stay but there are a few issues that keep this from being a great hotel. Mainly the mattress (which is cheap and very uncomfortable) and the shower, which is barely there and does not even give enough water pressure to wash your hair. It just could have been such a fabulous place to stay."
