"We had a truly wonderful stay at Miyajima Machiya Hotel Shiomachi-An. The location is excellent, making it a lovely base for exploring Miyajima. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the omakase dinner. It was an exceptional culinary experience, thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. We were especially happy to have the opportunity to try fugu (pufferfish) for the first time, which made the evening even more memorable. "Brand new boutique hotel in pristine condition. Super easy access to transport (both to Hiroshima and to Miyajima island) given the hotel is 5-7 min walk from the station and 10 min walk from the ferry terminal. Great service from the friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were both included with the stay and were of exceptional quality (dinner was fusion kaiseki). Hotel facilities were outstanding - thermal bath on the rooftop deck was very enjoyable."
