"All was great!"

"The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. (And I am a sucker for cheap motels) You can see evidence of its former glory. It seems kinda clean, but it is very run down. Whoever runs this place has done a number of shoddy repairs....

"The hotel's facilities are basic, offering only the most essential amenities, which doesn't justify its price. The breakfast area is cramped and the food is simple. The four-story hotel only has one small elevator. I stayed two nights, but the hotel didn't automatically provide room cleaning or clean towels unless I requested them. However, its advantage is its convenient location with restaurants and supermarkets nearby."

"This was a very clean, new hotel with all the comforts you could want. The room was well-appointed with little hooks to hang your jackets and small bags, nice places to put your luggage and an ample bathroom. It was nicely decorated and modern. Breakfast was more than sufficient. We traveled with our two small pets and found that the pet area out back was not so good. That area needs work, but overall this hotel was excellent. "We were not happy at all! The price was increased due to Savanna Banana Ball event in the area. I paid for a balcony room that ended up being filthy with a mound of cigarette butts and dirt swept into the corner with tons of black marks on the walls from putting cigarettes out on them which it is a smoke free facility supposedly and only one chair instead of two on the balcony as shown. Dried food on the wall by the inside garbage can, no garbage bags in the cans. Black Mold under both soap...
