"This was an amazing place with remarkable people. Hop was extremely friendly and helpful. And Marie made the most incredible breakfast. They made us feel like we were part of the family. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. He gave us a tour and let us feed and pet the horses, who I now love! And the pool and hot tub were absolutely wonderful! "The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. "The hotel's facilities are basic, offering only the most essential amenities, which doesn't justify its price. The breakfast area is cramped and the food is simple. The four-story hotel only has one small elevator. I stayed two nights, but the hotel didn't automatically provide room cleaning or clean towels unless I requested them. However, its advantage is its convenient location with restaurants and supermarkets nearby."

"Room was clean. It is an older property so keep this in mind. The lighting in the bed area didn’t work when we checked in. It was kind of bazaar, but when we found the plug in for the bedside lamps it was loose. After pushing it back in all of the lighting worked in the area except the reading lamps. "Staff were helpful and knowledgeable at check in. Parking located on site at no fee. Room was comfortable and clean as was the property. Enjoyed how close it was to area attractions and the coffee shop in the morning was a huge help for our travel day! We would stay again"

"The Dunmore was a spotless motel. It wasn't fancy, but it was immaculately clean and conveniently located on our route. We love doing "Mom & Pop" whenever feasible.
